The Millennium Pairs raised £1048 for Save the Children. Over 200 pairs competed in the heats at 42 in the semi-finals and finals. The event was run by Balsham Bridge Club who are to be congratulated on the way they organised what is possibly the largest pairs event ever run in the county and also on the enthusiasm they generated throught the county. Many thanks to all the clubs that participated. Thanks also to Giles Woodruff for directing the final.
