The David Boston Simultaneous Pairs is held every year about the beginning of November. This year, it will take place during the week starting 6th November 2000. Heats may be held by clubs on any day that week. Obviously, players may only compete in one heat! This event, previously known as the Eastern Counties Simultaneous Pairs, was renamed in memory of David Boston who had started and organised the event prior to his death. The winners of the competition receive the Boston Bowl.
The cost is £2.40 per player, plus any table money charged by each club. Commentary on the hands has been written by David Jones.
