Most of the duplicate bridge clubs in the southern half of the county compete in the South Cambs Bridge League. Teams play a 24-board team of eight match against each other team (alternatively home and away in successive seasons).
Ely have won the league for 2001/2002 with Saffron Walden in second place. Two fixtures are still to be played before the table can be finalised.
Ely received a walkover against Basham (17-0 according to rule 11).
The constitution was revised in July 1999.
The 2001 / 2002 fixtures have been arranged by the SCBL Representatives for the clubs.
