The David Boston Simultaneous Pairs is held every year about the beginning of November. This year, it will take place during the week starting 4th November 2002. Heats may be held by clubs on any day that week. Obviously, players may only compete in one heat! This event, previously known as the Eastern Counties Simultaneous Pairs, was renamed in memory of David Boston who had started and organised the event prior to his death. The winners of the competition receive the Boston Bowl.
