County Calendar 2000-2001

All central events start at 2pm (except County Pairs - 1pm) and comprise two sessions including a break for afternoon tea. Except for the Swiss Teams Cub Challenge and the Golfprint Trophy, all competitors must be members of the EBU. For all other events except the Garden Cities Trophy & Newmarket Open Swiss Teams, all competitors must be be members of the Cambs & Hunts CBA. 20th October 2000
Closing date for entries to the County Teams Knock-out. The county's premier green-pointed teams-of-four championship with matches played in players' homes.  The winners will represent the county in the Pachabo.

Newmarket Open Swiss Teams A teams-of-four competition comprising seven 7 board matches. (Organised by David Man) Newmarket
Monday
20th November 2000
Closing date for entries for the Garden Cities Qualifier. A knockout competition for club teams-of eight.(Clubs may enter more than one team). The winner will represent the County in the Regional Final.
Friday
24th November 2000
Closing date for entries for the GolfPrint Trophy. A teams-of four competition open to bone fide golf clubs  played as a knockout to select a winner for the Regional Final on 24th February 2000, unless there are more than six entries when two regional finalists will be decided by all play all on 28th January 2000.

28th January 2001
County Individual FinalThe final of the County's individual championship.  All partner all and only a simple system is permitted.  Qualifying heats are held in clubs. Comberton

County Pairs Final The green-pointed final of the County's premier pairs competition. The leading three pairs will represent the county in the Corwen. Qualifying heats held in clubs. Comberton
Saturday 31st March 2001 New Players Tournament Those entering should be regular Bridge players either at home or at one of the smaller Bridge Clubs but if ranked at all should not be higher than Club Master. Shire Hall
